"You don’t have to let go of anything. You have to realize that everything has let go of you. You are not attached to anything in reality. Everything will die and change regardless of your love and attachment."

"Our secret? Believe it or not, friendship. We’ve tended our friendship first for the entirety of our relationship, and made sure that, no matter what else happens, we’re always happy to see each other when we get home at night.
We have fun together, and give ourselves room and permission to be apart when we need to. She makes me laugh like a madman, and takes my awful puns and maniacal ideas and turns them back on me whenever she can. We play D&D together. We make pointless romantic gestures to each other whenever we can. We respect each other, and help without hesitation when the other needs it, no matter what.
Every day, I fall in love with her all over again, and each day is better than the last, because I don’t just love her, I trust her, I like her, I’m impressed by her, and I’m inspired by her—and she says the same about me.
If it were just love, we probably would’ve parted company long ago. What keeps us together, what makes our relationship vibrant, is everything else. I don’t just love her. I’m not just attracted to her. Both of those things are true, in fairness.
What really does it, in the end, is the fact that I’ve never in my life had as much fun as I have when I’m with her."

  1. Get some cheap dishes and break them when you get upset.
  2. Learn how to say “NO” and don’t feel guilty about it
  3. Buy something frivolous for yourself once in awhile, like a new hat.
  4. Never again do anything you don’t want to do.

WIP “planeswalker’s log”

been cutting up my notes and scribbles from the past four-something years to consolidate the stuff i find keepworthy, and get rid of nearly all the blabber, personal ravings and other such stuff. still got a lot more ornamentation to do, most of the pages above aren’t done - and i have more material to sift through; and in the very end add the commentary bits.

the real fun for me comes from mixing parts from various topics and points in time as well as cutting out a few words to create new permutations.

it’s already becoming a rather intense expression of what i have been doing with my life / how i look at the worlds.

have at it. i may post more pages once it’s done.

Who much do know;
Three from the hall
Beneath the tree;
One was named ‘Was’;
And ‘Being’ next
The third ‘Shall Be’"

The Völuspá (via heartbloodspirit)

"Enlightenment is like the moon reflected on the water. The moon does not get wet, nor is the water broken. Although its light is wide and great, the moon is reflected even in a puddle an inch wide. The whole moon and the entire sky are reflected in dewdrops on the grass, or even in one drop of water.
Enlightenment does not divide you, just as the moon does not break the water. You cannot hinder enlightenment, just as a drop of water does not hinder the moon in the sky. The depth of the drop is the height of the moon. Each reflection, however long or short its duration, manifests the vastness of the dewdrop, and realizes the limitlessness of the moonlight in the sky."

on this very day of the april moon.
up north, the culmination of these strange planeswalking rites,
t’was where it all began anew.
t’was when this journey started.

so on this day of the eclipse,
we’ll do it all over again.
close this world, open the next!

preparations are done, it feels just right.
i’ll leap into the vortex, tonight.

the stars are calling
and
i’m too curious to pass up this chance.

i’ll take a break from posting for a week or two: in between all the glorious events i forgot to take care of some important things, so it all caught up to me now. haha. live and learn, eh?
